Our aircraft:  The Luton Minor - very affordable flying

We recently purchased this 1975 Luton Minor single seater from Wiltshire and are looking to start a syndicate for very affordable flying!

First registered: 2001.
Hours at 2005: 1700.

Permitted, insured full hull as a syndicate aircraft and ready to fly.

The founder members are setting up a full ownership share with an ideal number of 10 members, up to a maximum of fifteen. The syndicate will be run within a legal agreement and positions such as treasurer and maintenance co-ordinator will be filled by syndicate members.

Costs:

Full 1/10th share: a one-off payment of only £350.

Monthly: £25 to cover hangerage at Wickenby, insurance and routine maintenance/permits etc.

Flying rate: £20 per hour (wet).

Monies collected will be controlled by the treasurer, but belong to all members. Bookings would be via the Fly365 online booking system.

Training for this taildragger aircraft could be on the Chipmunk or a Thruster, but the first flight in the Luton Minor would be your first solo in it!
