The Cessna 152

The Cessna 152 is a two-seat light aircraft, with fixed tricycle undercarriage and is one of the smallest 4-cylinder engine aircraft in use. It has served as one of the most popular flying-school aircraft for decades.

The Cessna 152 was manufactured from 1977 to 1985, following on from the proven Cessna 150 design. As with the 150, the majority of 152s were built at the Cessna factory in Wichita, Kansas. The airframe is of all metal construction, though some components such as wing tips and fairings are made from fibreglass.

There was a total of 7,585 Cessna 152s manufactured as well as 23,948 of the earlier Cessna 150.
